Lost a Cat?

Start by filing a free lost report:

We recommend:

  • Share a flyer to Facebook and all your social media channels
  • Print flyers and post them around town (with permission)
  • Tag friends who will help with the search
  • Tag yourself to the poster on our Facebook page
  • Check local humane societies and shelters often — go in person
  • Post on Craigslist and Nextdoor, notify local police
  • Go door to door with printed flyers — it makes a huge impact
  • Put out worn clothing or items that smell like you
  • Set out smelly food and consider a feeding station
  • Set up a trail camera and review footage closely
  • Borrow or rent a live trap from your local animal shelter
  • Talk with mail carriers, utility workers, and neighbors
  • Search at dusk with a flashlight — look for eye shine in bushes and trees
  • Put a yard sign in your front yard with your cat's information
Do NOT put flyers inside mailboxes — it is illegal.
